10/02/2004: "Cross Town Traffic"

For the past two Summers, there has been contruction on the main route I take to work. You'd think the solution would be an alternative route, right?

That only works if the alternative routes aren't under construction as well! It seems of the 4 major North-South roads between home and my office 3 (!!!!!) have various levels of contruction. Of course, that means the 4th is even more backed up, 'cause everyone is using it as their alternative route!

Isn't there any such thing as city PLANNING anymore? How about PLANNING period. I think it's a lost art.
