05/09/2004: "Video Capture pt. 2"

My Sony Handycam successfully captured the video from my VCR . . . however, the sound capture is less than ideal.

My next attempt to capture some of these old tapes will be to connect my VCR directly to the WinTV 250 capture card.

Note that the movies I've taken and transfered directly from the Handycam look great -- and the interactions between my software and the new camera via the firewire connection are awesome. I guess though, that the Handycam is not going to help much on capturing old tapes.
