03/08/2004: "Rain Gutter Regata"

Tonight was the check in for this years Rain Gutter Regata with the Cub Scouts. Thomas' entry is a "Military Boat" with a slick camoflage paint job which Thomas painted himself with only a little help. The pressure is on as Thomas took first place for the Wolves last year with a pirate ship.

Unlike the Pine Wood Derby, the rain gutter boat races are about fun -- and the rules are much more relaxed and fun. This is my third year assisting Thomas' pack with this event -- and I love it.
