Alyssa's Doll House - New Windows
In the end, we purchased 3 new windows. For the
Living Room, we purchased a "Circlehead Double Casement Window" (Houseworks
#5049). In addition, we purchased the 2 pack of "Circlehead Windows"
(#5048) to use as attic windows, and to compliment the upper sides of the house.
We also purchased some interior doors for the
bedrooms (Houseworks Classic 6-Panel Interior Door #6007). This allowed us to see
how the redesigned Bathroom floor plan would work with the view through the door.
Although the walls were together, I was successful
cutting additional holes for the Circlehead Windows in the attic, using a
Dremel Motor tool (I don't know how I would have done it without it).
I next considered the kitchen, deciding
to add additional side windows after experimenting with the placement of a
kitchen set.
To Be Continued (I promise) . . .

After moving in 1998 -- the
dollhouse became one of many projects on hold, but not forgotten!
When Alyssa was two or three we bought her a toy dollhouse
to keep her interested in doll house stuff. Finally,
work resumed in 2002!!! |
